What To Wear
Spring and Fall
We recommend wool or polypropylene fleece sweater and nylon pants. DO NOT WEAR sweatshirts, sweat pants or jeans for your rafting trip. Please wear shoes that won’t come off in the water (sandals with a heel strap or old tennis shoes). You may want to wear wool socks with your shoes during this time of season.
Summer
Swim suit, shorts, t-shirt or tank shirt and shoes that won’t come off in the water (sandals with a heel strap or old tennis shoes).

Fly Fishing
What To Wear
We recommend shorts or nylon pants with socks to be worn under the waders provided for you. In warm weather wear a t-shirt and in cold weather bring a fleece top.

Float Fly Fishing
What To Wear
We recommend shorts or nylon pants. In warm weather wear a t-shirt and in cold weather bring a fleece top. Wear sandals with heel strap or sneakers you don't mind getting wet.

Horseback Riding
What To Wear
Wear jeans/pants and closed toed shoes (riding boots,
tennis shoes, etc.). Because of our high elevation,
temperatures can change quickly. Bring a jacket!
We’re
usually at least 10 degrees cooler than Asheville.

Hiking
What To Wear
We recommend wearing shorts or convertible hiking pants and a short sleeve t-shirt or sweat wicking top. Bring along a fleece top for chilly days. Sunglasses and a raincoat are also good to bring along.
