Josh Davis
Josh Davis began Rock 'n' Water with a
vision of creating a variety of summer activities to
compliment the existing winter activities at Wolf Ridge Ski
Resort, making the area a year round outdoor adventure hub.
Josh’s love for the outdoors began at age 6 while helping
build his family cabin in the Adirondack Mountains. He truly
loves the wilderness and the people and activities that keep
him close to it. Josh studied Outdoor Recreation Business
Management while attending New York State College of
Environmental Science and Forestry at Syracuse University.
During the winter months Josh manages the Upper Lodge ski
operations at Wolf Ridge Slopes, where he is often found out
in the terrain park catching some air. He is a lifelong
outdoor enthusiast and hopes everyone will come and see what
Rock 'n' Water has to offer.

Maria Davis
As Josh's wife, Maria gets to partake in all the activites Rock 'N' Water has to offer. She has traveled and studied in Australia and New Zealand, but loves to call the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina her home. While at the Outpost, Maria loves assisting our customers with the planning and scheduling of their "summer fun" at Rock 'n' Water. She also stays busy part time in Real Estate and Landscape Architecture.

Travis
Wallen
Born and raised in western North
Carolina, Travis has been in the woods and water of these
mountains since he could walk. He knows the area like the
back of his hand, having fished, biked and rafted most of
it. Travis is head guide for Rock 'n' Water and loves
sharing his knowledge and experience with everyone. In his
free time he keeps very busy tending to his dogs, cats,
horses and chickens. At his farm he also grows plenty of
vegetables including some hot peppers which aren’t for the
faint of heart. During the winter months Travis works as a
snow maker and is responsible for the snow everyone likes so
much at Wolf Ridge Slopes.

the Wolfpack). He is Majoring in Agricultural Education and plans
